There's a place just around the corner on Wilsons rd south I think it is, they quoted me about 20% less than James Lee did.

Check out Darryl he is a member on here, only one I let do panel and paint work on my wrx. And does it all for cashies, I honestly can't recommend anyone better for value for money.

there's a guy on waterloo rd in hornby, he does repairs, can lengthen/widen cars even! offers full body resprays for $1200 (wagon price, sedan cheaper i think) can also give his details if needed :)

What does that get you? That wouldn't be too flash a job i'd imagine, even if you'd stripped it down yourself first! If it WAS a good job, dang, I'd be getting my car re painted every year at that price haha

yea i need some dents removed and roof has a dent too lol. spray with pearl paint job would be more expensive right?

Depends really. The expensive part is the preparation, not the paint (paints pretty expensive though). 90% of the work in painting is preparation, sanding down whatever you're painting, cleaning it so there's no dirt or paint or anything left (you can go over the top of old paint, but I prefer taking it all off as it insures a better job, because who ever painted it before may have done a **** job and cause your nice new paint to flake off). If you're going to do it, do it right. The actual painting takes a two second job. So if you can do most of the preparation work yourself, it can make it ALOT cheaper

I think the guy chickinsteelcaps is talking about is the guy that painted my rs. Cost me 2500 and its a mint job, he does them cheap for cash after work sorta thing his work has a full bake oven etc, and he invited me to point out anything i wasnt happy with at any stage of the process so im happy as. Tony is his name if any1 wants his details pm me and im sure he will hook ya up.
