Few v7 Sti conversion questions

Good day to you all,

I'm in the process of building a version 7 Sti motor for my Rs. I'm planning on running avcs just to make my life harder lol.

1- did all avcs motors come with the tgv's from factory and do i have to use them and has anyine had exoerience with the tgv delete kits all over ebay? I'm working on utilising these to do an itb setup but atm I just want the car running so will stick with just the single throttle body.

2- anyone tried larger aftermarket throttle bodies and if so, what did you use and possible places to get them from.

If it's a JDM V7 motor, it will have TGVs. You don't have to keep them, apparently they just help with cold starts. Haven't had experience with the delete kits but people seem to think removing the butterflies and rods can reduce restriction, personally I think the results would be negligible.

Probably has tgv deletes factory. Theyre just an empty housing no plates or tgv **** on there. Its part of the manifold not the engine so just check the manifold when you buy it.

Stock tb supports good power 350wkw odd. Stick with stock for now.

I got the motor with the in take manifold but the tgv bit wasnt there. So I'm looking for just the tgv bit so I can get fuel rails and that all bolted up.

Sti had no tgv. Wrx had tgv

Alrighty I've got the idea now. But now I'm still stuck with the fact I don't have the bottom bit that connects the manifold to the block where the injectors sit. Anyone got one?!!

I would say 99% of them get sold with the manifold as a unit.

I found the parts off the guy I bought the motor off. Getting closer to finishing
