09 Sti A-line thoughts and issues

Hi Guys

just wondering what everyone's thoughts are of the 09 sti A-lines? Any known issues? What to look out for?

I know its an auto haha, but just recently got a new job and moved to Auckland and like the idea of an auto for getting around here (coming from Marlborough she is a bit different).

One I'm looking at has done a bit over 100k (has had its 100k service) but apart from that it's in amazing condition.

Any help/info would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance :D

Marlborough to Auckland- that's a move I've made earlier this year- Just get a manual, let your clutch leg be strong and guide you.
Auckland traffic isn't too bad, just don't get an HD clutch that'd make it tough lol.
On the A-line though- It appears to be only half an STi
So, STi engine; reading a review though- It had single-pot rear brakes and only twins up front :/ I suppose cheap replacement but still..
-again everything is an option from the factory

Trying to find brake pads for these is a mission. tbe auto's use a weird size and shape specific to that model only.

Not a bad car, single scroll turbo and 2.5 so none of the goodies that make an sti an sti, if you follow. No dccd, no 6 speed, no twinscroll turbo

My parent's have one of these, also a 2009.It's a great car for what they wanted, something fast, but auto.

Theirs does have the 4 pots, and no DCCD sadly.

Purchased with 90000KMs and has since had it's 100,000KM service.

The only issue they've had with it was the EGR system failing, but a quick reflash of the ECU to remove the errors, and blanking plates installed, and it's all gone, never to be seen again.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
