WiFi keeps dropping out, how do I tell whats at fault??

We're in Massey East.

The phone is an older Uniden, not sure of the frequency. We have another newer phone somewhere, but its hard to hear anything on my it. I'll give that a try tonight. Mark (spotme) is supposed to be bringing his laptop over tonight to check.

It'd be helpful if you know what causes it to drop off (those pesky intermittent problems are so hard to troubleshoot

turn your phone off for a period of time that you would usually see your wireless die..

Should either find it guilty or not depending on results.

Model number on the cordless phone will help determine if thats causing issues or not. Also which wireless standard are you using? b? g? n?

Right, had Mark (SpotMe) over tonight to try and get it sorted. We think we got his E-tune sorted with an AFM for starters. He found the wireless was set to drop to low power consumption on battery but not charging, and found a later WiFi driver than I did, so installed that. All seems to be well so far (fingers crossed...).

Glad to hear it held up overnight. Hopefully it really is solved. If nothing else, we know it isn't the access point since my notebook didn't lose it's connection when yours did.

So far the car is running well It has been boosting fully on both primary and secondary and I haven't detected any pinging (which used to be a big problem).

I'm looking forward to the long run on the weekend to see how it goes but it is definitely looking promising so far.
