250t headers

recent;y scored some 250t headers for my version 4 type r and they bolted up sweet, but seems they are sitting very close to the coolant hose that goes to the oil filter. the headers have no heat sheilds or heat wrap, has anyone fitted these headers before and modified the coolant line? just not keen on it melting the hose while driving around, any help would be mint

Yeah they sit real close. I just heat wrapped mine, and did a couple of layers around that area. Was sweet as.

make a heat wrap condom and put it on your filter too man, my extractors blew a hole in the filter then caught my car on fire a few months ago aye... was a average drive home from work having to piss on your car to put a fire out on the main road aye

yup from the sounds of it ill be putting that heat wrap condom on it definaltely and buying a fire extinguisher at the same time.

had my extinguisher since falgoons sti got cooked could bare that 2 happen
