Breaking into my B4

Hey guys,

I feel like a bit of a twat but ive managed to lock my keys in my boot while cleaning my car (opened boot without unlocking rest of car then closed the boot, forgetting the keys were inside). Does anyone know the easiest way to break into it without causing damage? If i remember some of the the older version legacys had unlocking sequence that could be activated by the right sequence pulls on the door handle.. Does the b4 have this? Could possibly work if the code has never been changed

B4 does - but unless you set it you cant enter like that, pull window open at top and use wire to unlock latch

or slim-jim the lock (steel ruler + wire trick (untested)

or jam a flat head into the lock and twist - they are very weak (slight damage)

+1 to pull the window and use some wire.

my sister had a bmw and if you locked the keys in it you could pry the bonnett open slightly and short the battery and all the locks would pop open

Yeah just pry the top of the window and use a wire coathanger around the door handle. Works like a charm and shouldnt take you more than 5 mins.

Yea i managed to get a coat hanger wire down inside but the lock release needs to be pushed inwards to unlock... where as it only needs to be pulled out on my old bg5 which was a piece of piss to open.. Guess Subaru learnt there lesson with that one Guna find a longer piece of wire and try to reach the boot release latch

Opening the door handle from inside the car also unlocks it btw.
