Pro-Ma MBL8 Oil Additive

Is says on directions that i should change oil and put it in with that but i've just recently done oil/filter about 100km ago and have just dropped 75ml in. will it still do the trick or do i really need to go to shop and spend another 50-60 bucks lol.

just an oil additive that quietens( not fixes) noisey lifters and sometimes a bit of piston slap. but really only designed for rocker gear and hydraulic lifters

Just a quick post on the quiets not fixes this is not quite right the product has a flush built in which works over service life Subaru's often have a issue with the oil gallery going up to the lifter blocking which because of low oil pressure at the lifter makes it tap so in this case it fixes the problem as flushes oil gallery(note needs some oil flow to work).

Also with a tappet which has picked up dirt will also fix problem as will flush out lifter.

Pro-ma MBL 8 stands for metal based lubricant it was never designed for noisy lifters it was designed for cold start protection and for general engine protection.

The hydraulic lifter is a positive extra that just happened the metals in MBL 8 are copper and lead copper is a good heat transferrer and lead a good lubricant.

I have seen this work for total oil loss noisy lifters I have even seen tests where product has continued to work when mixed with antifreeze.
