you Cant match up hoses, due to them being different end sizes and funny shape.

Heres the

Samco Kit, thou they dont list a part number on website. Ive only ever found these kits for sale on Japan sites

Theres also the Subaru STi hoses but these are about $600 for the pair.

A number of Japan Parts shops make there own, but dont have links anymore on this computer.

The best bet is to find somone who can get this kit for you off Yahoo Auctions Japan.

I checked just before and there was one kit for sale for about $170 NZ.

I got mine through alert (http://www.alertmotorsport.com) they matched up the hoses, forgot how much it was, done awhile ago.

maybe its the secondary that has less angle?

edit: wait hang on looking at my own pic a bit longer the primary is not exactly 90* either... the angle is deceiving

Angle of the dangle hey

The revision D BHs had much larger turbo inlets, so the corresponding rubber intake piping going to them will be different.

the hose comes out from the airbox has two sizes - 76mm and 90mm.. I assume the 76mm is for rev. A-C and 90mm is for rev.D, is this correct? ALways wanted a metal one coz they sounds great... ;D

90mm: http://www.fortyone.co.nz/parts/view/12608.html

Yeah I just installed those turbo to intercooler Samco hoses from Alert Motorsport, to be honest didn't notice much difference although it all helps I'm sure.

As the original post was about budget mods I think Qwerty's quide on how to do a resonator-delete is the best bang for buck mod.

If you want to spend $400 a boost controller will give more power guaranteed. The Zerosports Sequential Controller just changes the cross-over point between the turbos...

I replaced mine with Samco selicon hoses... altogether with Rage downpipe. Turbos certainly spool up much faster - but I can't tell if its due to the downpipe or the selicon hoses or both... I'd say it's the downpipe.... :)

I have rage down pipes and mine spool quicker :)

yea, there pricey, i got 300mm length of silicon pipe, cost me $120, coz it was hand made and it was an odd size, was actually used for the intercooler pipes to extend them :)

Does anyone have the diameters of turbo pipe's inlet/outlet? I may have someone who can make similar/same product...

the diameter is easy to measure but the tricky part is the angel... I'd recommend to have these with you when you looking for replacement...

I'm sending mine to a friend on this forum and hopfully he could find something. :)

Btw for those who interested in the ZeroSports sequential controller... I have it fitted in my car and currently set to 4000rpm... on second gear still feel like the second turbo doesn't really kick in untill about 4700 ~ 4800 rpm on full throttle... look like the secondary turbo needs quite a bit of time to spool up? Or may be I did something...

Does anyone else have one fitted as well?

Hello,

i have asked and they do not have this silicon kit. If you have a sample. I will send it away and fabricate 1 sample for you to test fit and keep.

If so, please send to:

dsrturbo nz ltd

13 haruru falls rd

Paihia BOI

And also write any info about silicon that will be manucatured specs/differences in physical size etc compared to the oem Regards,

www.dsrturbo.com

so - depends on how keen you guys are that is a possibility or a risk if it works out dearer than the available kits

To back up Omegah's downpipe comment I also have the Rage downpipes and also noticed a good improvement, definitely do these before the Samco pipes.

Also I bought the last pipes Alert had in stock and they said any more they ordered would be more expensive... this is an expensive mod for the improvement on offer...

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
