..haha just how you preach bigger rear swaybar than front is best for Subaru's and I'm always saying bigger front than rear and the FAQ on NASIOC is on my side ;D.

fair enough, do some more reading and you'l find plenty of other reading saying that on a factory strut set up that a bigger rear bar in almost every case is recommended.

;) Im more than happy to accept of reasonably modified or "race" setups that a larger front can work as recommended by some susp tuners.

What i can tell you from personal experience having a much larger bar in the rear of mine has netted betterbest results in my car / setup

your welcome to poke the fire all you like - and i welcome it, but you should read a little wider yourself before using ONE example to back your point. ;)

Hey I ain't taking a dig, its only an opinion. Everyone likes their car setup different. Your right though, the point of a larger bar up front is to retain as much dynamic camber as possible and if you don't have any camber to start with (like on a street setup) it's pointless.

Funny, adding a bigger swaybar in the rear made my car stop understeering.

That's the way Whiteline tell ya to do it too :P

But it's all matter of opinion, personal preference and vehicle preference at the end of the day anyway :)

(Though srsly, NASIOC... what would the yanks know about handling? The only corners they know of are a gentle slope to one side, round and round in circles... :P) I jest I jest

Yea, I don't disagree with you guys that a big rear bar will cut out understeer and therefore make the car more neutral.

But, a larger bar up front is like taking 3 steps forward in terms of overall grip and 1 step backward in that the cars balance at the limit will be more toward understeer.

Have a read around a little more and you will see this opinion is shared with ALOT of people, people with far more experience in cars/motorsport than any of us will ever have.

Thats what I did anyway, then I tried it out for myself and would rather run without my rear sway than my front.

This is awesome guys...THANK YOU ALL!!!! Just purchased a Whiteline 22mm rear bar and composite links (I'm jumping up from 14mm!!) so this is good. I have had many different opinions expressed to me too...only do the rear, have the front the same as the rear etc etc so anything more you guys want to share would be cool 8) Will tell yas how she feels when the 22mm turns up and is fitted. Oh,and Shale, she sounds good with the rage muffler on,pretty quiet until under gas though...

What's the stock size up front, generally speaking? STi is how much bigger than non-STi?

When I go for a yet-bigger rear, I want the front to go with it. At this stage it's just an uprated rear... but after yesterday's rainy, greasy weather I'd like a little more grip :P

its common in track etc competition to run no ARB's in the wet - AFAIK

In the wet you have less grip - so naturally your car has less roll - so you don't need stiffer ARB's

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
