Seeing there is quite often people asking "can someone photoshop" this and that I figured I'd start up a general thread where these things can be posted and admired/abused.

Just post a hi-res pic of what you want done and await people with the skills and lack of anything better to do to work their magic on it. Remember to include just what you would like to see changed in your pic.

The GIMP is a free alternative, it's what I use. Not necessarily by choice however.

Ok here's mine. I attempted it myself (see below) but the ways of photoshop are new to me... 2hrs at this stage. So lets see what you guys can do.

Want it CAMO and maybe with some V7+ sti rims if anyone is able to

I said it was my "pathetic effort" I never claimed to be any good with photoshop

Plates the same as its always been. I can't afford the DFRSTR plate

I would use the polygon select tool to outline the parts you wanna change first, save it. then generate a camo pattern using render>clouds and some other filters in a new layer, fill the whole picture. I'd then distort it over the shape of the car trying to follow its curves using warp. change the camo layer to overlay. Bring back the selection by loading it, select the original layer, desaturate or colorise the parts you've selected depending on which looks better. Press ctrl+shift+i to invert the selection. Select the camo layer. Press delete.

Srsly. I may get onto some of this PS stuff, even though I have to boot into Windows on Parallel, do it all in PS7 (pre-CS) on a machine with no graphics...and somehow see what I'm doing on a 13" screen 8)

Good you can teach me how to use it, coz I honestly don't have a clue what I'm doing ??? I eventually want to be able to make the above pic look like what the DeForester will look like when I have ticked off all the boxes in the build diary
