small Simota breather filters

I've noticed a few engines running the 25-30mm mini breather filters straight off the idle air control, crankcase breather outlet, and rocker cover breather outlets............seems to get rid of quite a bit of the factory breather piping

Im just assuming this causes no issues with idling or engine breathing in general. If you know of any reason not to do it .........can u post up cause i'm looking to do this and lose sum of that factory breather tubing in the process.....cheers

You'll find those doing that are running an aftermarket ECU (i.e Link etc) so they don't require the idle are control valve, Not 100% sure with your piggy back but you might require the use of it still

If you're using an AFM with a piggyback, you'll still need all the piping.

As Koom as already pointed out, the AFM will not like the unmetered air.

Another drawback is having a fine oil mist around the filter.

like mine eh Joe ;D No oil mist on mine, but i do have the oil breathers all plumbed to the catch can.

As said above ecu doesnt mind un metered air so its fine.. if you have an AFM then you have to plumb in behind it.
