Attaching Spot Light Covers

Hey guys...bought some fibreglass spotlight covers for my wrx the other day. im sure that they need brackets off the sti front bumpers if im guessing right...but is there any other way of getting them on???

Wait, which version?

If they are the 5/6 ones like I had... you'll want to drill the appropriate hole in the little spare panel that lines up with thread on the bumper itself. If you just plop it in, some drunk dumb sh!t on Queen St will walk in front of your car and accidentally knock one of the covers off when he tries to hump your bonnet. No...no I didn't find this out the hard way... ;D On that note, security bolts = win.

If they are made well, they should fit over foglamps. Been there done that, no issues.

got a ver 3...im planning to just mould it on..sand it down n give my bumper a respray as that was i was planning to do in the first place

So you want to stick them on permanently, instead of bolting them on?

yeah stick them on permanently...but if i could find a way of bolting them on then i could do that 2. but im sure i need the brackets from a sti front bumper??

i have urethane mine on and it works a treat...

Looks like these guys at least have brakets for a temporary bolt-on Probably won't sell separately though...

Anyone got a pair that they can measure up the hole centres for me?

Yeah If i make some, I'll chuck a pic up and see what you think.. Will just need to wait til i get the covers so i can measure the hole centres

Yea Just having a look before taking measurements to make some brackets but i'm an a CBF mood so might just glue them haha
