The guy had a ver3 STI and he bought a new HD clutch for it but did not fit it, then sold it/replaced it with a ver8 STI (his current car) and now is asking is it possible to fit the 5speed clutch (that he bought previously) to his ver8 STI which have 6speed gbox! now re, "at least 3500lb", NO, no need for that at all, my previous clutch was 2800lb and was fine ~300kw simple answer is yes it\'s doable like funky said and you\'ll need what funky mentioned!

There\'s an original unmolested Evo I GSR i know of, totally factory and car still looks like it just came out of the factory couple years ago not 20! However, i don\'t think the owner would sell for cheap but it\'s probably the best condition evo of that era you\'ll find!

Rev A & B (MY99 & 00) have the gearbox you said. C & D have a different box/not the same boxes as STIs.

Mine did 2600 RPM @ 100km/h in fifth (Rev C and D have longer ratio than A and B) also 4.444 Now i have 6speed and it sits bout 2900 RPM in sixth @ 100km/h

i might have a brand new 5speed clutch for sale thats HD and have 3400 ft/lb clamp! this would feel like a factory standard one but still take any abuse you throw at it/your gearbox would break before the clutch! if you interested in it let me know!

nah joker, some cars -most Europeans?- do have "parking light" which is sometimes driver side only (front and rear) -not sure gen4 and newer legacys have them tho-. But yes as mentioned most cars that have rear fog light has it as on driver side only.

I run eagle leads and link dual channels igniter, still standard V3-4 coil pack tho plugs gapped to .65

+1 but i use platinum instead of coppers as daily but probably would replace them every 30k

WRONG, H1 if you got aftermarket HID, not factory fitted you\'ll need what i said in my previous reply but yes you should get either 6000K or 4300K
