  1. I knew parsouq could search by part number, didn't realise they had a catalog too. [quote name='Joker said: perhaps a "general subaru' tech section at top & model specific as child boards off that?thoughts / feedback welcome Yeah a general technical thread with each model as a child board would be good. That way all these handy links could be pasted into a single sticky thread.
  2. Wasn't sure where to post this, so I'll dump it here and it can be moved if need be. I was sick of digging around forums, Google images and random webpages trying to find the genuine part number for the odd thing. Managed to stumble across this site: http://opposedforces.com/parts/ Covers a few main models; Forester, Impreza, Legacy, SVX, Tribeca. 3. I should go find this location this weekend, now that school holidays are over.
  4. Fitted a new muffler (Ganador ) Replaced 3 of 4 A/C vents as the left/right adjust was broken Oh and I now have a black fuel door on my silver car... Silver one is off for paint matching something
  5. McIntosh amp only seems to receive power on Tuner mode of the aftermarket headunit. The Amp on signal cable is spliced into the antenna cable like you described. It seems that on this aftermarket headunit in particular (Alpine) the power antenna signal is only sent when on the Tuner function. Will try rewire to the Amp On wire (Blue/White) on the ISO harness. UPDATE: Wiring the McIntosh amp on signal wire (light blue) to the ISO harness Amp On/Off wire (Blue/White) worked!
  6. Thanks for the write up. Helping a mate do this conversion at the moment and this made it so much easier.
  7. More here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.774886045949060.1073741829.644301572340842&type=1&l=304ba8a6f9
  8. Awesome outcome! Glad to hear it
  9. As you haven't changed the rolling radius of the car I would be insisting that the car was fixed under the mechanical warranty. Otherwise I would be requesting a refund for the value of the mechanical warranty due to being mislead by the dealer under the Fair Trading Act. Write them a formal letter stating your position, and await their response before proceeding further. It sucks dude and I wish you all the best, but I am sick of car dealers selling these overpriced warranties that are void with any mild modification or change.
  10. Such a handy feature. Thanks for the guide.
  11. Man that's a bit of a drive Might have to go for a cruise this weekend.
  12. Just posted on the Canterbury Police Facebook page:
  13. Highbrook Automotive has a pretty good reputation around here. They've been working with Subaru's for quite a while.
  14. I went to Peter Hendriks Panel & Paint for my car. They've been in the business for over 25 years and are an approved repairer for most insurance companies. Really easy to deal with, organised a courtesy car and I was really pleased with their high standard of work.
  15. Spotted this at Hampton Downs.... Anyone here own an S204?
  16. Was a bit slack last meet and most of my photos turned out pretty blurry Here are a few of the better ones:
  17. Has anyone previously changed rocker cover gaskets on a EZ30 in a BE Legacy? I've been quoted $600ish with genuine Subaru parts. Does this sound right? Cheers.
