  1. yep, the guy at bridgestone had a app on his phone and he did the difference and it was only a tiny difference to the speedo, I just took a look at the tyres on my car and they are 205/50/17 but I cant quite remember the exact size Im getting, ill take a look at work tomorrow, I should have it written somewhere lol So if the middle number is 50, does that mean 50% of the first number? or am I thinking of something else
  2. I ordered a new full set of RE003's for my car which will go on later this month hopefully, will also get an alignment because I haven't had one since I changed struts/springs and they are way off lol. That coupled with the bald tyres mean driving in the wet is very slippery lol Will hopefully have some nice handling after that's sorted
  3. haha nah I saw you were thinking about buying them on the trademe thread gz on purchase
  4. I might check my ej20 n/a torque box later on, I never seen inside mine... will be furthering my education
  5. Im not an expert about this but I would start with a look in the engine bay, maybe check the air flow censor, any other censors or hoses that might have popped off, im not too sure what exactly to look for but I would start there. If you cant find anything, I would get it taken into a shop to get the check engine light checked out that will say why the light is on.
  6. Is it worse on wet days opposed to just cold days? Could moisture be an issue somewhere? I have had issues with other another car when cold started on a wet day it runs really bad but this was water in the distrubuter cap and the HT leads were not in best shape too.
  7. If the person repainted it correctly including sanding back the factory clear coat to make it smooth and to make it stick better, wouldn't the factory coat be ruined? I may be wrong but whenever I paint wheels I sand back the paint (or at least the clear coat) to make it come out better. Kinda depends on how it was repainted, I may be wrong tho, im not an expert
  8. oh I was like damn thats some serous cleaning... Im presuming its a 2016 Sti?
  9. Sounds like a good idea for an NZ drive tribe, I might be doing something wrong but I cant find "NZS" tribe
  10. Wow, wheels and wheel well looking real clean!
  11. hmm difficult one, If it was me I would leave it or just get it coated now, would be the easiest options, you could risk having less than ideal wheels if it didnt turn out
  12. hmm, Did you paint the wheels with rattle cans yourself? If you find something that does remove the rattle can paint im pretty sure it would start removing or at least ruin the factory paint too. If you want it to look somewhat good you would probably have to get it repainted, you can do this yourself but you need a bunch of time to get it right as well as materials (I have done about 4 sets myself lol). What is your goal with the wheels, are they going to be sold, repainted or just kept factory color?
  13. yea that was real good too, Turbo v8 was a bit different.
  14. Ohh please let it be Super Gramps... The best series is the Supergramps build, I have watched it like 3 times now, learn more stuff each time lol.
