r200 ex nissan rwd, don't have one but its wot I'd put in if i was planning on leaving mine rwd.

Assuming the center diffs already welded, I would fill the rear driveshaft hole with blutak and bubblegum and put the front half shafts back in. Would then enjoy doing sweet FWD burnouts and general DVS'ness

Yea i herd the nissan stuf the way to go and shuld change the hubs 2 coz they strnger dnt have the frnt shafts :-( its certd rwd sory bot text language im on the net on my phone

personally i'd just throw another r160 at it, they cheap as chips.

true, if you not too fussed about fixing it in the near future but if i waas gonna fix it long term i'd convert it over to r200.

i only ever had to change mine once, and its was only cause the front bearing was whining, i didnt actually pop it, and yea i've had some fun with it.

actually your best option would be to go back to 4wd, rwd really does handle like crap to be honest if your pushing it. im gonna change back for that very reason.

Yup, if your that keen on a RWD get a proper one, Nissan, BMW etc...

That way the whole car can handle the punishment, and works how it was designed! (Surely a converted 4WD into RWD would feel like shit next to the real thing?)

Just note that its not as simple as bolting in a Nissan R200. The subframe needs to be modified, as do the prop shaft and half shafts. Not a cheap exercise, but you'll probably never blow another diff!!

yip, expect to spend a few thousand, which is why most dont bother when a r160 can be had for $50-100, or wreckers $200.

unless your drifting constantly all over the street, you dont need it

Probably best to replace with an R160, and IMO convert back to AWD to save this happening again.

I'm guessing they are still not tough enough to withstand full time rear wheel drive and are too much to be replacing every so often when you shit them.

I know of one WRX rally car that is RWD that uses an R180 and hasn't suffered many driveline breakages at all.
