v10 front on a v7

Hey guys, like the title states....would a v10 sti front 'bolt' onto a v7 ? wiring for lights would most likely be different...but otherwise...has anyone done this?

Yep you can do this but of course you'll need virtually everything: bumper, grille, lights, guards and bonnet. May even need bumper supports etc as well?

There have been v8 onto v7 transplants on here, but not seen a v10 to a v7. It's probably been done overseas though.

theres a v7 that does targa that has a v10 front

yea its been done in nz as well.

need the whole front as said above ... bumper bonnet lites fendors radiator support panel. the wiring is the easy bit

Yup as above, a facelift is possible. Even been several kits on trademe, but if ur after a good deal. Start keeping an eye out for hte bits as they come up from wrecked v10's and you get it done relatively cheaply.

not straight foward as the doors wont line up as you could imagine, but it could be done relatively easy.

It's is possible, seen v8/9 bumpers on gc8s. And other cars fitting different lights from other models, so will require some modification however anything is possible if u have the right connections and $$$.

ive done a v7 to v9 conversion before, not as stright forward as 1 might think but not that bad at all juat bit of mucking round go get it to sit perfect. My wiring was abit more then the "easyist bit" lol as I did it on a RA and they dont have HID lights only single bulb H4 bulbs!!!!!

btw as stated in the orig post "bolt on" its not quite bolt on there IS welding and cutting involved lol.
