HEATER shit

hey guys

Im not running air con or heater anymore!

i see there's loads of heaters pipes in the engine bay, can i just rip them out? or do i have to plum them up ? or cut then block ends?

just a bit scared on whats safe etc,

any help would be tops

some require blocking off and rerouting etc...

but rip away if you feel the need. as loren said - you might get chilly.

dont block the heater lines, as the engine uses it to bypass water. bypass the heater lines if necessary.

yeah heaters a no go now, so the long as thick pipes that go from block to fire wall i can rip out? dont need to block em up?

yeah... you can't block the hot water pipes, you need to route the water out of the block, right back in.

You know the 2 black pipes which sit on the block and point to the firewall (the ones that have the hoses on that go to the heater core)? You need to loop these pipes together so the water keeps circulating. Thats the easiest way to do it... although you are still left with those 2 big pipes which are kinda annoying just sticking out the back of the engine...

Never had any WOF issues with mine when it had no fans or anything.

Schedule A also says you need a demist solution, but it doesn't mention it has to be fans... could just be some of that wipe on stuff.

front demister is required for WOF - I assume the fan on its own counts?
