VER MODEL SPEC TRANS ECU ECU PART AFM MAP NOTES

Ver 3 GC8 D WRX MT 1S AC721 D55 E AA271 Orange AA090 VF22 EJ20K Yellow Injectors

yea search aint so hot especially with less then 2 characters! (1S)

yea thanks, i saw those 1S ECUs in Kaminekos thread, but the numbers on this ECU are slightly different and not in his list.

So i guess the question is... do all 1S ECUs (regardless of teh other numbers) run yellows etc etc

on this one the model numbers are on a black lable

I've used an ECU with that exact part number in my single turbo conversion, using orange airflow meter and yellow injectors and it ran fine so I assume it was the correct combination.

Using a 6S now, much better ;)

cool thanks, do you reckon the 6s was a noticeable differance?

Yes noticeably different, I think the 6S has a higher rev limit also, but I'm not game to test that out.

I can confirm that a 7S will rev to 8200, constantly, persistently, and forever :)

even on a WRX block?! ;D

I don't think so Jon. But on a STI block - yes. ;D

Looks like I meant a 75 - not a 7S - my bad - blame it on the poor eyesight. :)

hey, i used the search and found nothing on this ecu, can anyone help?

1S 22611 AC720

A18-000 D28 6Z10

i know its a 97 GC8 but thats all, does it run yellows and a orange AFM?

cheers

YES. That ECU listing has all the info you need, have a read further down. quoted for truth :P

...

VER MODEL SPEC TRANS ECU ECU PART AFM

Ver2 GC8C STI-RA MT 7K AC710 D22 AA160 Green

7K = reference code for easy identification.

22611 AC710 = This is the Subaru Part number for this ECU.

22611 (ECU part category)

AC710 (Part revision)

A18-000-D22 = Unisia Jecs part number. (Jecs builds the ECU for Subaru)

D22 (Part revision) this number is usually found on a sticker on the socket. This ties the

case to the ECU board. [up to version 3 afaik]

5X11 = ECU serial number

note: sometimes the ECU revision may be out by a few numbers eg. AC710 -> AC711 This is the same ECU with a minor revision, possibly to the tune.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
