Leaking coolant

Ok so put new cambelt waterpump ect... put it back togther and goes like normal... 2 days later notice its just started leaking water... No hoses are split that i can see... its still running mint and there is no water behind the cam cover so its not the water pump... Aparently water may becoming from the back left hand of the head... looking at it from the front of the car... Any ideas wtf it could be???????

Drain all the water out ( if you can be bothered) - leak fixed

It sounds like its leaking from the heater hoses.

and the worst bit is the smell of antifreeze cooking off, takes bloody ages and i hate the smell

Ok so the leak it under the inlet manifold on the turbo side..... Is that heater hoses

no, its not. have you even looked any further than popping the bonnet and finding a puddle?

i think it would be the crossover pipe orings.

I fixed one the other day in the same spot, I thought it was the O ring on the cross over pipe but it turned out to be the rubber hose that comes off the side/bottom of the throttle body to the left of the cross over pipe

Really easy to fix once the intercooler was removed

just a thought but if its a turbo you should check all the hoses that go to it, ive got a tiny tiny leak on one of my hoses that wouldn't have noticed until turbo heat vent thingy was off.you'll know whats a radiator pipe cause when car hot the pipes will be hot an you can just touch the pipe an go aw yea thats one of them an check the connections... ;D

Sweet cheers guys... ill pass that on tonight... And let you know what has been found... Pressure test showed it started leaking at about 15psi
