Anyone know current pricing (and where to get) Ferodo DS2000 pads?

Hey all,

My Bendix Ultimates are getting pretty thin so it is time to price up some replacements.

Does anyone know where in Aucks to get a good price on Ferodo DS2000's or something similar? The Ultimates have been pretty good (really really dusty though!) so I'm thinking of switching camps to try them out.

Ferodo DS2000's are dusty word of warning...

I cant remember what the ultimates on my forester where like but the Ferodos on my Sti are dusty. Wash wheels within 10mins of driving dust over them again lol

In saying that they have proved to be a good pad, hit Hamptons with them and braking pretty hard and no problem/fade.

Ultimates I found were twice as worse dust wise, tried out the Ferodo's and found them way less dusty then ultimates. In fact never went back to ultimates.

I knew about Racebrakes... but I believe Supercheap and Repco stock them too so was hoping someone had purchased some recently and could enlighten me on the prices.

Yeah repco definatly sell them..i got mine through there but didnt pay retail so cant help

Well why didn't you say so i your original post ?

Last set I got from RB were $200 +GST.

Local Ripco had 1 set but wanted around $250-260.

Also, DS2000 and TS2000/Formula are essentially the same pad, DS made in Germany, TS made in Thailand.

I got my Ferodo TS2000 from Repco. About $190 trade. Done a few track days already. I think they'll last a few more...

nope his done squeal. I think you might need to check your pads again and see if they are aligned properly and sitting right.

nah no squeal. have you bedded them in properly?

mine smoked heaps during the bedding in process

and i am now using them with DBA slotted rotors, much better than those znoelli ones

Yeah i think i did lol. kinda hard as I liv in aux and dont know anywea decent to go since im new to the big city buzz lol. Oh and you didnt like the Znoelli rotors? i have the DDS ones and some TS2000 pads and man they were getting close to fade on me last track day (their first lol )
