Engine Rebuild Auckland

Hey guys,

I've been thinking about getting my V6 RA engine rebuilt, where are some places in Auckland you would recommend for this?

I was just going to get a full engine rebuild with forged parts (might as well go all in on this). How many of you have got it done before and wha was it like cost and time wise?

Na decided against selling, i'd been looking to hard for the car to get rid of her, finances sorted themselves out.

Also another place to try is Taylor Automotive in Newmarket. This is where i got some work done on my old engine, and was very happy with there work..

Would buying a 2nd hand STI engine perhaps be another (and maybe cheaper) option?

yes would be cheaper, but maybe not in the long run? as most come with over 100km's

over 100kms is no problem as mine has 140+.

Just want it refreshed and feeling like new, putting in a STI would give me more go though.

Could think of easier ways to 'get more go' for 4-5k!

no point fixing something thats not broken?

for that type of money - bigger sti turbo, yellow injectors & link G4/tune. Get it tuned safe enough for your wrx engine and it will make heaps more power than current

yeah i would be doing the same no point in having forges if ur not got the rest to go with it.
