Whats required interior wise?

So i've been striping out all the interior

Whats required to remain legal?

Rear vision mirror i assume is a must.

The light in the center of the roof, the sun visors and the lights near the rear vission mirror i assume can all go?

I am certified two seater so the rear door cards i assume can go - fronts have to stay. High stop light has to stay.

I have found a rubber like mat that goes under the pedals up the firewall which i've yet to remove.. can i remove that?

And which of the dash panels can go/stay? Im thinking potential to bash ones knees or something.

If there are any other gotcha's please post up. No apologies for my dumb questions if any above, im only trying to get it right / legal.

drivers sunvisor has to stay for WOF :)

black rubber underseal can all come out

not sure about the crashpad though :)

roof lining

door cards (rear can go ) maybe front ones can be removed and replaced with carbonfibre sheeting :)

remove all the internal rear door hardwear

forgot to say - the windows are electric - so kept the rear switches and the motor internals so they still work - i know its weight begging to get out - but i love driving with all the windows down. No aircon, it gets hawt.

crashpad = rubber mat thing on the floor and runs up the firewall?

u can pull the rubber out from under the dash..its purely sound deadning... which all of this can be removed...

like u said u can remove rear door cards as u dont have seats there..front door cards must stay..

top half of the dash is a must...bottom half can go...

roof lining is a must as is the pillar plastics in which u can bang ur head on ....this is all stuff i got quoted on for a old car i had which VTNZ told me about

can i ask where you go to get your two seats certed?

If you have a well known brand of full bucket seats (driver and passenger) and you use the stock rails on them, then you dont have to cert them, however if you use aftermarket rails as well then you have to cert them :) just go to the nearest performance shop and theyll be able to tell you what places you can go to. Im able to tell you some in hamilton and rotorua but dont think thatll be a lot of help lol

I reckon you should cage it with FOUR fixed back seats in it - now THAT would be unique. Group track rides anyone?

there was a guy in nzpc last week who did that lol...

thats bullshit, a mate of mine has two raceseats in (brides full bucket seats) and get a wof every time, doesnt matter where he goes, its a trueno coupe. HOWEVER he has certed his car for being a two seater. but the seats dont need a cert as long as you use the stock seat rails and the seats are of a well known brand. however if you want to make it a two seater instead of a 4 or 5 whatever yours is atm youll need to get a cert for that, and if you get a cert for that you can just cert the seats at the same time on aftermarket rails (wont cost any more)... hope this helps

Have it certed as a 2 seater and make sure it is changed on the rego as well

You won't have a roof lining or pillar trims with a cage in the car.

I havent had a roof lining in for like 2 years, no issue with WOF, When I retrimmed the pillar trimss I got WOF without them too, dont think there will be any issue there. Not with Funkys WOFer anyway.....106db meh its not thaaat loud haha.

My brothers GTI Pulsar has fixed backed bucket seats (similar to racepros etc real deep) that have been put in. However they are NISMO and out of the N1 pulsar factory supposidly so they bolt straight in. Never had a issue with wof and i thought you had to have reclinable in a 2 door also

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
