v5 spoiler stuck

so i just purchased a v5 spoiler that came attached to the bootlid. the problem is, the bolts are broken so when i try to undo the nuts, the bolt just spins with the nut.

anyone have suggestions how to remove the bolts/nuts?

snap them off? i dont really see any other way but someone else might?

if its possible (not sure if it is) but if u can get access to the thread easily cut a slot in the end of the protruding bolt so u can hold the thread stationary with a flat blade screw driver and undo the nut with a spanner??

can you fit small grips to hold the nut?

I would say that you are screwed, the bolts are rotating in the fibreglass choices are either rip bolts out of spoiler and then replace and fibre glass in new ones, actually regardless of what u do u will need to glass in new bolts

thanks all for the help! i got 4 nuts off with the vice grips and a spanner but the other 6 were impossible with that setup as the bolts were too skinny to drill into/make a slot for a flathead screwdriver to hold the bolt still and also there was only enough room to fit the socket spanner down there so couldnt get a good grip with the vice grips. ended up taking it to a panel beater and they got it off somehow, said they used a rattle gun and some sort of tool to hold it still. cost me $60 all up but all good!
