hey guys and gals, im looking for someone who wants a cheep tune in a 01 or newer wrx/sti in auckland. something simple, upping boost, smoothing fuel maps, if using car for track use, i can also move your speed limiter around.

anyone keen?

i have been getting some good results with v7 setus asds they have a lot in the setup that can be improved

basically jump of abt 35-40kw@w from stock with just exhaust and retune (dyno proven of course )

iv been using rom raider with some good results. mostly with an 03 sti, squeezed some 15kw just in map smoothing. more when you wind up the boost etc. gives more control back to the ecu, so you arnt relying on a boost controller.

Ive got a v5/6 possumlink im not using atm (actually trying to sell it) but if you were keen to try give it a tune i might pop up for a weekend or something..All good if not though! Just a thought.

Too bad the ecu doesn't have a spare port for a switch for a secondary map trigger

No need for a boost controller then.

Very reliable as have had itworking perfect on few cars over 3 years now

It just depends on if the person mucks up the startup and all the crucial bits

- I leave that side alone as can really improve on an already spot on setup

There is an option where u can switch map tables but not that I have noticed much need on a street cAr

And ya man it's fairly cheap to do as a bonus

cheep depends on what you want done. secondary map trigger? for that sort of thing im sure you would have to go aftermarket.

reliable? well, your car has started on the stock ecu how many times? all it does is move a few figures around (basically) so, it would be just as reliable as stock.
