**CLOCK** BLANKING PLATE!!

this is a photo of what weve done in my brothers SF5 - where the broken clock used to be...

if anyone wants the "blanking" panel (carbon style or coloured - most colours available) please let me know and ill sort it for you for $10each... this is only the piece in the center that replaces the clock - not the whole surround.

cheaper option than a new clock / fixing clock and saves you explaining to everyone why it doesn't go! (silly subaru faults!)

We have ciovered this off before.

Just because you "start" a thread does not mean that you "own" it.

was just offering a solution if someone didnt want to blank the clock over, but dont want a not working clock either. *shrugs* its just another option.

i personally dont like carbon, and prefer things to work. but, everyones different.

my fozz done almost 270,000km and the clock still works!!!!

i didnt realised that its a common problem until jason told me

My v7 sti actually has this issue as well . Clocks not the same though - well, it could be internally.

Yeah the separate clocks seemed to have a high failure rate. It wasn't an issue on wrx models with them integrated in the speedo cluster. Legacy and Forester seemed most common. Even the later model BL/BP's...
