boostcut?

hey guys. ive got 89 BC5 RS. when im driving at a nice constant pace for a while and drop down or try to overtake at times i get this jerk where im supposed to get boost. its intermittent. only happens sometimes. ive checked vac lines and they seem to be sweet. the jerk is like the jerk that u get wen u take off and then just take ur foot off the throttle without changing. that ugly jerk.

im getting one soon but im 99.99% sure its not boosting aye, its barely moving. it feels like im towing a truck

im thinking its a fuelling issue. fuel surge is my main suspect atm. how would i test my theory?

i vote coils.

remove and inspect for damaged insulation. you'll know, they will fall apart in your hands.

i had that! PITA - replaced the boost solanoid a couple of times didnt do jack!. The only thing that fixed my issue was getting a G4 a bit extreme i know!

I also vote coils and/or plugs.

update guys ive pulled out coils and had a look. they seem fine to me.

i will be changing my plugs next and will be trying out another green afm and see if that solves the issue

take of the wee rubber boot on the end then see

if they are still out take them to subaru dealer as they can test them
