Different gas prices in Welli

Currently both BP and Mobil in J'ville have their 91 at $1.94/L, generally 98 is roughly 15c/L more making it $2.09-2.10.

In Lower Hutt it's $1.98/L for 91, so I'm not sure why there's a 4c difference. I guess it pays to shop around.

I use roughly a tank per week - so the 4c/L is not even a cup of coffee in today's economy!!!

Jville is ALWAYS cheapest out of anything between wellington and porirua for whatever reason - according to my girlfriend who buys petrol frequently in various places

caltex in stokes is currently $1.99/litre

i dont even think they try an compete lol

i found its always 2 cents cheaper in petone (thats about as close to town as i get )

Mobil Silverstream always seems to be 2c below the market price too, they don't do 8000 there though...

10% ethanol....hmmmm....smells so lovely though! but it does burn faster & cleaner

even their 95 is 5% ethanol blended, and 91 is 3%

Although uppper North Island where Gull caters for the ethanol blends, the Mobil is normal stuff.

Due to all the snowing most places in Welli seemed to have put gas prices up, so 91 being now $2.02 makes 98 around $2.18...

But J'ville remains unchanged - I noticed Mobil had their 91 at $1.93, theoretically making their 98 under $2.10 - this was driving past earlier about 8pm

I haven't been driving my car much, i haven't bought any gas in almost 2 weeks!

Bought 20lt last night, first time buying gas for my car in 6 months!!! still cheaper than last time I had to. 1, 2....3 cents different makes so little difference over a whole tank it doesnt bother me. I want it to go back to $1.00 a lt like the in the 90s hahaha.

Yeah I filled mine with Mobil 8000, for a change, 40L

Car is currently at 199,654km.......nearly 200,000km = excite!

I should put it into storage to preserve the k's and use the wagon more...
