yea if someone wants to organise a gen1 event let me know well in advance, be cool if we could organise something to fill up a weekend, ie: cruise somewhere, stay in hotel, night on the town, cruise next day.

Something worthwhile to ensure a good turnout,

Speaking of a Welly meet - does anyone have any dates in mind? And ideas of where and what you want to do?

For example another club Im in is doing a Saturday day cruise to Palmy, no particular reason it seems - just a cruise and a chance to stop and take pics at a few different places.

Of course, we dont have to go anywhere. But it would be good to organise something

As I think Ive already mentioned Im keen for a Saturday meet up at some stage

just ideas, somewhere with free bbq, byo sausages n bread, - theres bbq at petone beach, couple of big parks in upper hutt, plenty of parking, nice photo backdrops..etc etc

Within the next 4-6 weeks i'll get something organized for a local wellington meet, probably just get everyone together chat bbq, drive or what ever we decide on the day.. and might plan a bigger mega meet gen1 styles later on in the year

That is what I'm planning, and yes Taupo would be the place of the Mega Meet

My is running it just uses way too much gas....

rather get it fixed instead of spending upwards of 150+ in gas just to GET to the mega meet :-\

im keen after duckshooting season which is 6-7 weeks still 2 go,

cars always have problems,my power steering fluid leak has got worse dam it,doing rack end at some stage 2
