a 3 inch should give MORE low down power than stock - less back pressure = faster turbo spool - exhaust is the key to power

Amen brother if i was running an rb30 ;) ;) I'd even go four inch given the turbo was big enough ... Are you gonna track it soon bro? When and where? Mind if I tag along?

haha off topic as but yeah the turbo is huge if you look at the pics - 3 inch works a charm on it- straight through of course - i would go 4 inch too but the dam thing hangs out allready and scrapes on judder bars LOL - and not sure about the track but hitting the skid pad next weekend at meremere to let it loose !!

but yeah back to exhausts !!! LOL

oh and subarus hahahahaha :P

  • 4 weeks later...

Well just dropped loud exhaust of, really light!! Its a ganador full titanium, from the research i have done it should be 102db with out silencer and 98db with, plus the small hole in resonator. Would have been worth a bit at a guess. Bought silent hipower of fastfour, will hopefully get it fitted tomorrow, should be sweet!

Yup im running one after i saw royal sti's car with one not a factory fit on the bugeye due to brackets being out of line in places more to do with bad jigs on the pattern than anything also needed to lengthen mine by 100mm cause i didnt like the fit but other than that flows really well not overly loud but loud enough to know you mean business and helped spool faster if your handy at fabrication its a good choice didnt fit the up pipe that came with it no need really

Finally got exhaust on and been for a blat, talk about quiet compared to what it was!! I do miss the raspyness that it had but enjoy not attracting the wrong attention around town ;D Will be great on a longer trip with the family 8)

Zerosports. Unsure which model or how old but it has some spiney turbine things in the centre pipe and muffler. In initial tuning car apparently made only 215kw with it at 18psi. As soon as it was unbolted power shot up over 250kw without touching the computer. Now its waiting for the new exhaust to arrive before tuning can really start

Wierd, Simon C runs one of them on his V7 and it's over 250kw... have to see how mine goes on the dyno when it gets there eventually but I'm running one of those venturi turbiney Zerosports exhausts too.

I achieved 237kw atw on 16psi with the HKS Silent High Power cat back exhaust fitted and rage down pipe so it can't be that bad

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
