bh legacy bonnet

I would like to know if any other subaru models bonnets fit a bh legacy

would like a wrx one to fit

I'd say BE would, but that would be the only one. And would probably have to match up facelift / non-facelift, if there is such a thing.

WRX from any model definitely won't fit a BH Legacy.

yeah be does. want to put a bigger scoop on so i can get it cooler in there but dont want to try put a new scoop on instead wanted to see if another bonnet already fit.

There is a facelift, (revision D) and the bonnet will line up just above the lights there will either be a gap or it wont fit, can't remember which way round....

wot? No, all legacy's from Gen II up share the same bottle under the bonnet, it has 2x outlets/motors

I still reckon is a good upgrade for IC sprayer (delete second weight source of about 1.5-2 kg)

A Rev D (01-03) bonnet will physically fit but only once you take to it with a hammer lightly around the headlights and you will still be left with a small gap on the inside of the headlights. I dont know why you would want to convert the bonnet to Rev D anyway, the scoop size is just the same. Your only options for a bigger scoop is to get a bigger one grafted on your stock bonnet or to go with a aftermarket bonnet.

and grafting a V8 scoop seeps to flow nice with the rounded body style of Gen III

That was the answer i was looking for cheers and no about the rev d bonnet wat would the point b. Ok so do u know anywhere that has scoop that can fit on the curved bonnet there wAs someone on tm that sold a ver7 style that actually slide into existing whole that looked awsm cant find them though

You can buy larger scoops for BH/BE's. There are a few different types and I have seen a seller on trademe selling them recently also. They just attach to the factory hole.

Sorry to revive such an old post but am looking into this very thing at the moment on my be. I know a little while ago there was a trader selling inserts to suit a be/bh bonnet but never ended up getting one. Does anyone know where they can be found?

they were the ones i was talking about and still cant find them they slid into existing hole aye and mounted as if they were the factory but stood up about 100mm higher

Any bonnet will fit your BH, you just need to be generous with the fixing hammer, and the refining grinder.
