Car smashed into in carpark - can anyone look up regos to get details?

My partners leggy wagons just been smashed into in the carpark outside her work, right down the passengers side from the front door right to the rear guard. Luckily some witnessess wrote a note as the driver himself is a wanker and buggered off. Can anyone here look up rego numbers to find the owners details? I'd love to pay him a little visit with a mate or two.

Aparantly it was a light grey isuzu 2 door with the rego plate ZP4763.

This happened in the carpark outside ray whites in the royal heights shopping centre in massey.

Please if anyone can help let me know either here or on 0211463832, my partner is absolutley gutted as her cars her pride and joy.

not sure if carjam.co.nz gives owner details or just vehicle details. I'd try either a vtnz station or post office.

I once witnessed some guy hitting someones car in the carpark. Jerk was in a Merc and was clearly loaded, but still decided to take off. I pointed at him as he drove passed me. Took his rego number and left it on the poor guys car. Hope you find them. At least get paper work done at the cop shop.

car jam can give address details BUT it still wont do you much good

The driver of the car has broken the LAW give details to the POLICE and let them chase them up ALSO give them to your insurance company when you make your claim and they will chase them to the end of the earth and back

+1 get details from carjam , lodge insurance claim, you need there name rego and address. Insurance company will ring them and get their insurance details if any

Just give the details to your insurance company. You pay as part of your premium to fight those battles for you. They will get them. But first id be off to the cops to lodge a complaint.

Dont pay your excess to the insurance company either so theyll just get it repaired if he doesnt admit liability and charge you.

as long as you have full insurence that is the case aslo cops couldnt give to sh*ts adout it my partner was involved in a 3 car hit and run and took cops 9 months to give us the report so insurance would pay us out, they even told me if i want to sort it out myself with some mates and gave me his address....

Your excess will be refunded once the third party is know, then if the third party doesn't have insurance we would send the Credit Control Unit to get the money off them.

+1 for giving rego to Police and lodging claim with your insurerer even if u just have third party. Even if the other driver is uninsured it will probably work out at little if any cost to you...and they will pursue driver. Let due process take its course...

Not SilverRSK's concern tho..responsibility for extracting payment then rests with insurer if they have paid out..

Just gonna throw it out there but if you ever see someone hit a car, leave the details of their car AND leave your details. It's absolutely vital for pursuing the matter, as you may be called upon to be a witness at some stage.
