To be honest , i think these guys had a HELL of a lot of interest but no one really wanted or could get to Blenheim to buy. Plus they have got a company car and the legacy wasnt being driven - rego on hold.

Similar cars in North Island appear to be going for around $8k which is really why i snapped it up.

Could well be a tidy up and flick for me if the right price comes up???

in the last 3+ years projects have conisted of: 1 WRX, 1 STI, 1 BH5 legacy TT to ST, wrecked n parted out 3 BGs, 2 BG5a TT to STs and ofcourse the delica van LOL

then yud have all yud ever need, use all the v5/6 STI running gear (box, diff, engine) ECU, zuast and what ever else you need/want, 4 pots, seats, strut brace, sway arms etc etc etc

sell your old BH engine and box for like $1500-$1800

Sell any other bits off the v5/6 (bound to get most, if not all your money back)

- Saves trying to find all the single T components you need (of which would prolly be missmatched)

- No mechanical work to do on the engine itself for the ST conversion i.e. its a simple engine swap

- you get a forged STI engine and strong STI drive line with the right ratio (the BH ratio has longer legs)

- you end up with the ultimate legacy ST sleeper with proper STI components

- apart from fitting the g/box, diff and engine, its just the wiring mods to do.

thats what i would do if i was to do a BH again

fair enough, the old 'hairy lasso" is always a problem

ST conversion would prolly cost you around $1000 to gather parts individually, then yud have yr twin turbs to sell and some small bits but nothing much to make all your money back.

I've got a black one and the missus has a white one.. black definitely shows the dirt more, she hasn't cleaned hers since buying it but still looks ok (i've cleaned it twice, but not in a couple of months now due to injury)
