defi genomi sti boost gauge

Have one of these seems to work ok but for the life of me i cant work out how to use the peak and hold function and the record and playback function, I can set the warning light to go off at the desired boost level but when I switch the car off it does not save the setting and the warning goes back to 1 bar, which is way to low and its a pain to set it all the time to my desred setting. It has constant power at the controll unit.. Also the gauge seems to read slightly high . Any ideas ?

Sorry to hijack but I got an apexi EL mechanical from a member on here.

All it has is a yellow and black wire , plus boost tube obviously.

My thoughts were that:

yellow = permanent 12v

black = earth

Thoughts?

mechanical shouldnt be a permanent 12v? i would of thought it would be acc?

If you cbf pulling it all apart and can access spotlight switch easily you can link it to that which I did.

Pretty effective.

Mate you are a legend play back works!.. any chance you know how to get the warning light to reset I push the select button and set it with up and down and it stay on that setting untill I turn car off and it goes back to the 1bar setting wheres I want it to stay at 1.3-1.4 . Get a bit annoying having the light flash if i forget to set it all the time

It sounds like what was said above, you don't have the permanent 12v hooked up to a constant 12v feed? So the control unit is losing its settings when you turn the car off, reverts to standard settings (which must be a warn setting of 1bar). I have my warning set to 1.3bar and it remains at that after restarting the car. It doesn't sound like your control unit is fuct if you're having success with the recording and playback.

Also, if you didn't know, there is a factory harness/plug connector already under the dash which you plug the sti genome control unit into (if you get an original uncut power harness). So, if you power harness HAS been cut, you can wire it into this waiting plug/connhector/harness. It's a white connector from memory, kinda near your right knee under the dash.

has a subaru specific plug - controller plugs in the bottom of dash - where it gets the power and acc light wiring etc - basically no cutting and slicing of loom

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
