Couple questions for GTB wagon...

Hey guys. Got a couple of questions for ya!

I have a 1996 GTB wagon, and i have seen another one around in Chch with a V8/V7 bonnet scoop on it, so i know it is possible to be done, but do you guys have any ideas how???

Also what is the average gas consumption you should be getting in these wagons? it seems really thirsty?

We use about $40-$50 a week of running around town. Maybe 250kms? Open road we get 600-650 maybe a little more if the missus drives.

Remember thats in a BH though, which when driven lightly get pretty good economy, where as the BG never really gets great mileage even if driven lightly.

Also want to lower it, will it be OK with lowering springs and standard shocks? (aiming around a 40-50mm drop), cbf with adjusties dont want to get cert!

Also anyone know anyone in CHCH who does Subaru ECU work?

And frontmount on legacy wagons...whats your opinions on it???

also my exhaust is standard apart from just a big bore/tip. What is recommended for exhausts? im sure there are 100 different opinions, but would be good to hear what you guys have done? Am thinking about taking out the cat to make it a bit more free flowing?

^^ Teh aussies seem to be able to run 2.5" (primary) and 3" (secondary) downpipes on their TT's with no dramas.

Apparantly the ECV has a lot of scope for porting, which drastically improves secondary spool up, iirc.

 
Get a link maybe if you have the $, or single churbro if you have the time.

Not sure how the link handles the TT system? Would def go ST if going to the expense of a standalone ECU.

The main problem with parallel is that you are still limited by the turbos available for the application. There's much more scope for turbo upgrades with a ST.

However you can get creative with TD04 CHRA's and early TT VF series compressor housings etc, which is cool but more work than a single conversion.

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
