Few questions on split rail setup.

Do you need a fuel pressure regulator on each fuel rail? What vacumm hose goes on the regulators? Also I know there are three hoses two of which are inlet and return lines but the smaller one of the three where do I connect that up to? Might sound abit silly but I don't know much about subarus still learning lol

yes you need a reg on each rail

you will need vacuum line to each reg just run one line with a t section

the ends with out the regs are you fuel line in and the ones with regs are your returns its really easy mod to do if you do search for it im sure it will pop up other wise look at the form for twin to single for gt/b as its been covered many times in the form

google for pics. pretty self explanatory really when you get manifold off. sure theres a sticky in motor section? set up will depend on what reg you use afetrmarket or standard.

you dont NEED to have a reg on each rail, if your using factory rails having two matching rails with regs is the easiest way. but if your doing it properly you would T the two rails together then use one regulator after the T. this way you know your getting perfectly even pressure on each rail. factory regulators sometimes flow at slightly different pressures so if you were using 2 you may end up with higher pressure on one rail.

Thats the way i did it last time and will do it the same next time. You can still use a factory reg to

how do you adapt the factory reg to a hose on inlet side? i bought adaptors for the rail but cant adapt the rail side of the reg if you know what i mean.

Shove the bit that goes into he rail into fuel line and good hose clamp

I only used one reg on my split rail set up.. worked fine with no problems!

and i use two factory regs no problem

with 2 regs both rails will be at the same pressure if they are fed from the same pump regardless of what the pressure the regs are set at

I run a tomei fuel reg with my split rail setup, easy to adjust and makes it simple having one adjustable reg
