Help needed, I broke my front splitter!

Hi guys, I managed to do some damage to my front splitter whilst reversing out of a parking space at Makara Peak mountain bike park.

Can any of you tell me how to go about fixing this please? I was gonna take it to a bodyshop, but thought it would be cheaper to have a go myself. I\'ve never done any repairs like this before so I need someone to point me in the right direction, or tell me exactly how to do it, lol!

id say cable tie but then its not a nissan

If you have no idea then take it to a professional.

It wouldnt be a hard fix for them but it would definately be for you.

Cost you more to have it fixed after you bugger it up

If you want to do fibre glassing or something similar do a Youtube search and start simpler.

Took it to Airflowe in town, they did a good job, $200 though.

Luckily I won $225 on the Melbourne Cup last week. ;D

$200 is a good and reasonable price for plastic welding and repainting.

Yeah that\'s a decent price. I quite rate Airflowe personally... they did a really nice job on the rust in my Surf.

I would have bought a 30 buck fibreglass kit and some bog personally..

And primer and paint and clear and cutting compound and then realised that fibreglass kits stick to plastic lips about as well water to teflon without a lot of pre-work effort, lord knows Ive tried. $200 is a good price and well worth it if the job is solid.

I\'ve had a lot of success with motorbike fairings, and I have all that shit floating around anyway hahah.
