Like me probably didnt have the extra coin at the time rather spend few bucks a month on upgrades. If I bought a sti it probably wouldve remained stock Ill end up with a better car this way and I like the interior so much more than an sti.

I had to buy a house as well... Plus I like to haul things around in my car other than just people so a sedan doesn\'t cut it

They made a v7 STI wagon too.

Not as common as a sedan but they do turn up.

until the v11 hatch sti, yup. shame. NTYCME was turning his v8 wagon into an sti iirc... had the guards, front lip, spats, etc etc. f**k it\'s a good looking wagon.

Narrower track (steel control arms, well on mine anyway)

Spring rates are different

Doesn\'t have the pumped front guards like the sedan

Front bumper is different (vents around the spotlight covers are different) as well as being narrower

Wheels are different offset (more or less gold B4 wheels) slightly different styling to the sedan wheels

Engine and drivetrain are the same

The car is in Palmy.

According to the NZ new brochure I have, both weigh the same, 1430kg.

Same drivetrain - motor, transmission.

Wagon has narrower body and tracks, smaller brakes, smaller wheels/tyres.
