does anyone know if the redline exhaust systems are anygood? for a gc8 sti

Any one of those you need to get the full system or it won\'t fit.

Turbo down pipes (off the turbo to exhaust for clarification) will need to be dented in to clear the steering knuckle. In some cases one bolt (on the bell mouth type) will be a bit$4 to get on.

that one bolt is the bottom bolt. spray the s**t out of all the bolts with crc / wd40 before you try to take the old exhaust off. rage systems are LOUD!!!! had one on my skyline and jeebus what a racket.

if you get just a downpipe, or just a cat back, make sure it is guaranteed to bolt up... all kinds of swearing and cursing (and temporary supporting with cableties) will be caused by not properly checking.

Agreed. If it\'s a daily driver, don\'t get the Rage one. I actually just failed a WOF with it sitting at 92db at idle.

buy a divocred dump pipe off trade me for 150 . then find a jap cat back for 300 . = good sound and quailty

the buddy club one is likely 4 figures for only a cat back

mine came with a blitz 3" cat back, i picked up a downpipe from here for $120iirc, bolt up and go... my bad for not checking, downpipe is about 4 inches too long. getting it re welded soon, as soon as i can find someone that can do it!!!

There is zeeeero gain in paying through the nose for a brand new exh system, it\'s literally just a bent bit of pipe which may or may not have some resonators in it

Best gains to be had in preturbo equalised extraction. ;) Down pipe also assists Esp with divorced type/style. However the divorced pipe benefits even more if it is up sized from where the waste gate returns to it Go up to 65mm from this point! extend all the way as straight as possible, use a 65mm muffler too...You may also need a mid resonator to reduce cruise speed drone. It will pass Wof no prob and will produce a nice sound on WOT. Ordinary driving will not even turn heads ;) Or bother the coppers! (sleepa car trick)

I had this one installed http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/subaru/other/auction-567690825.htm Saturday and has a nice rumble without it being to loud.my mechanic did have to cut thread out of old exhaust for sensor and weld it in giant hole they left for it,mabe later models have differant sensor?

I have the same setup. Rumble is awesome, savage on boost but not loud enough to get hastled

no it all went on well tho needed one alteration to help pull exhaust away from a bolt(just incase senario).the sensor hole looked like they had drilled for another spec or something,now im looking at http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=567808481 to complete,they have another type but not willing to pay twice the price
