Tweeter Mounts

Anyone with a v1~6 WRX got tweeters mounted in their car and don\'t mind chucking up a pic? I\'m looking to get ideas for placing mine. I was thinking on the cover that hides the screws for the Wing mirrors.

That would be the best suitable & tidy place for them in my opinion!

Depends where you\'re going to mount the crossovers (assuming there are crossovers), and how much wiring you want to run through to the doors.

Not too worried about either. Was thinking of mounting the cross overs on the door panel.

Would like to have it look stock as possible too

What model do you have ?

V4 on had the tweeters in the moulding around the inside door handle on the front doors. (A)

Are you suggesting the interior panel at the bottom of the a-pillar ? (B)

Small area plus that area is always getting hammered every time the door closes so your fancy tweeter may not last long mounted there.

Thats where the ones in QYKCHK are mounted.

What I\'m going to do is email a few wreckers and see if they have those bits, otherwise just cut a circle in the existing bits and mount them there. And just adjust the tweeters wit the cross over or with my head unit if it isn\'t sounding good.

Yep.. just make sure it doesn\'t foul on the A-pillar, or the dash whenever you open / close the door

Location sorted! I\'ve got a spare set of the plastic cover bits that I can hack up for a test fitment, which I\'ll do before I install them properly.

Do you have tweeters in your gravel??

Yes, I screwed mine to the A-pillar. pretty roughly done tbh, but they do the job lol

Pop the air vents out and put them behind there...perfect place for sound staging!
