He\'s a family man and doesnt mess with his car too much any more. I try and catch up from time to time. He is a clever guy, so clever his Subaru stopped breaking so ran out of things to do with it

He was tuning it himself? He still based in Whangarei and owns the car? Seemed damn smart got a few posts on nasoic I think also. Massive power for a stock EJ257. Playing with Holsets before they became a big thing in NZ too.

I was talking to him the other day. He sold the car, the new owner had it for 3 weeks and stacked it, haha.

Sheets in old dyno thread I think. Dont think there was a restrictor involved pretty much just a big holset, fueling, autronic and v3 sti heads on a stock ej257 short block.

Obviously a miss understanding. Thought this car was in the Whangarei rally. Therefore would require restrictor

However it would seem this car is located in whangarei but is not a caged rally car. Having said that....It could be a caged rally car but only eligible for hillclimbs.
