V2 sti driveline

Ive got a 95 v2 sti wagon with a slipping clutch and dodgey gbox and or diff so I wanna replace from flywheel 2 rear diff.

I found a deal for good condition sf5 s/tb forester parts.

Will they fit? And should I use my shafts or foresters?

The forester box is weaker than the sti box. Don\'t do it... you\'ll only need to replace it in a few months

That didnt answer my question I wanted 2 know if the parts would fit. By the way wen I had a bc5 with the same gbox in it I was constantly told it was weak . At the mo the sti gearbox seems pretty weak as its already been rebuilt a couple times before I got it and has killed itself again.

So right now I have a 99% straight sti wagon with fresh panel n paint done not long ago taking up driveway space. It needs 2 go with very little money spent

Yes will fit....Bit of jigsaw puzzling with drive shafts in the front would be all.(inner cvs)

front inner joints of that era all fit up the same ( ie offset pin) unless you got a prodrive box lol

and same applies for 6mt boxes too

there is no jigsaw at all

late model stuff from around 04 does not have offset pin set up - they have a std inner cv with a splined snout

the MY05 6mt box i put in (v9 Spec c) mated perfectly to my MY97 CV\'s. yes its a female box but get the stubs from subaru or an automatic and direct bolt up.

tl:dr its still not a cv nightmare.
