GAS, just wondering...

Well that depends on what kind of motor it is. I know most turbo owners and high compression n/a owners cant touch 91. My car honestly runs crappy on it and pings a lot.

If however you have a older non turbo then i see no problem in running 91

yea it only just crossed my mind today. I am gonna switch to 98 next time I fuel up but the weird thing is the car runs fine, no pinging etc. 98 can only be better though for it I guess

If you have a twin turbo, I'm surprised your getting any boost from your secondary on 91.

I've only just bought it and it doesnt have a boost guage, yet, but anything over 5500rpm and theres no doubt theres boost from the secondary.

better but not best - many/i have to run 95 by options only (BP removed our 98 here early this year)

:o You still in Dannevirke?

I neeed them to have 98 there! Can't make it from Wellington to Hawkes Bay on a tank!

Damn them!! My plan B is usually to fill up in Mana (+1 for Macca's) or a bit further up in somewhere like Paraparaumu. Damn RS comes up about 40-50kms short of getting from BP in Blenheim to my parents house.

Seems like Macca's plan for world domination during the recession is slowly coming to fruition ;)

You're fortunate you've got onto this quick.

I heard of someone running their GT wagon on 91 for almost a year, then it blew a head gasket and caused some massive internal engine damage. Best get to a min of 95 - but 98 where you can :).

I even feel guilty running mine on 95 if I have to... :o

Yeah the previous owner of my car ran it on 91 as well, as soon as i owned it 98 went in it and ECU reset,

95 (V-Power) seems alright, an old college mate ran it in his 94 STI since and he still has the car, 289km on and not a problem with it...

Subaru (Armstrong) highly recommend 98

Who you ask will depend on the answer but IMHO 98 is the best to run :)

must be good to be in an area where u have that choice

I am not sure where the closest 98 is to here but it would be at least 1/2 hr(waiouru)

I have run my turbo subarus on 95 with no issues

Yeah I'm fortunate. Have two stations both with 98 - one is 4 mins away, other is 10min. ::)

Guess it depends where you are in NZ. :-\

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
