What can i do about a dispute with buying from the forums?

Hi guys a few weeks ago i paid for some car parts from a member from here. He said he shipped them but will not give me a tracking number. He says he will track it down but then i never hear from him. I send him multiple PMs but no reply. Is there any way i can go about getting my money back from this guy?

you can pm me some details if you like. As a mod we can try to look into it, or if you like you can forward to other mods as well.

as a general rule its buyer beware as we are only a social group. if all else fails and you can identify them then police and the courts are where you need to go..

please refrain from naming them publicly at this stage.

Yeah i remember a few times now were people did the name and shame, it never ended well. Funkys advice is spot on, get a mod involved and we will do the best we can to help out the situation.

Turned out it was lost in transit and was found at a post shop...

ended up being quite good mates with the guy.
