contrary to previous advice, rear seats on BD do NOT fold flat!

Seat backs fold on to squabs which are fixed. Also, the hole is curved and NOT the full width of the seat backs.

ok for skis, snowboards and fishing rods, but not suitable for a load which requires a flat surface.

I was thinking more along the lines of sleeping. I dont mean or need a comfortably sleep but enough to lie down on thats all, hence asking about the seats folding down. I like the option of taking out the sub zero sleeping bag and curling up in the back of my current 4x4 if a party drags on too late and want to do the same in this down south if I could.

OK!

This car I got the inspection done on yesterday:

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=229254480

Is listed through the AA Inspection as a GRADE 4: Extreme risk of requiring unplanned maintenance & repair

So that one goes out the door. Start again.

Anyone that knows of a tidy Black or White 1997+ Legacy RS or RSB thats NOT going to be a problem and it will fly a AA Inspection ok, PM ME!

who wants a copy of the inspection and why? PM me. The seller reckons they were harsh on the vehicle. The guy this morn who rang me from Invers AA said he wouldnt even give it a second look. Oil leakage, compression issues, scraps and dings, paint and split front bumper, interior is a mess, front exhaust pipe corroded and heatshield damaged. This is not normal stuff tho is it?

the only thing i would be concerend about there is the compression....but it all depends on how much your paying...things like oil leakage could be rockercover gaskets and they seem to be a pretty common fault...

Ok, SEE THE ABOVE VEHICLE...

Ive just had a inspection done on that and its come back fairly clean, minor things but the only thing of concern is a SLIGHT engine rattle "when under load" ie putting the foot down climbing a little incline etc.....anyone know what this could be and if it might be a major prob????

Please if someone can let me know what they might think it could be that would be great....!

I prefer to buy one in the south island as I dont have time to drive it to queenstown from the NI and Ive done it often enough that I dont want to do it again, it lost its 'road trip' ness many moons ago.

Still no one has ANY idea what the possible prob might be...surprising indeed.

A rattle could be any number of things. Take it to a bloody MECHANIC!

IM not asking for super specifics here. Im 900kms away from the car, all I want is some possible theories for the slight rattle under load so I can make an informed decision whether or not to waste my time in flying to the car to check it out and sort something out on it. Just theories thats all I want, so I know what it might be heading for.

like has been said, it could be possibly be anything really, it will need to be investigated more to really know.

Well can anyone tell me what it might possibly be, I know its a big umbrella but surely you are able to list a few common things?

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
