yeh nah its only in the B.R scene really that they're illgal me thinks. the likes of going to the skids being all legit and them needing something to pull you up on so they dont look like dicks to fellow pigs

your at the wrong skids if a ceffy is only spinning one wheel...NSD (no Slip Diff- or welded)

also people go to skids cos it cheap/free entertainment, if you have a carload its $10 gas each for a whole night of fun...(if you want to call it that) where if people go to town its over $100 per person....and thats just the drinks, then theres a kabab and a taxi home, looking like close to $200. but if you enjoy town....sweet, i'd rather be in the garage working in a husser to get me more coin to spend on my lovely sub. hahaha

$100 in town, **** no I just drive to town. Mates pay $10 petrol each, half a tank of gas, heaps of entertainment haha and a complete free night out on the town. I don't drink often at all due to training, hence why Im generally always sober driver, and can still outlast my drunk mates haha ;D They are always whinging about wanting to go home when I refuse.

Lol seemed the same when I was dunners way years ago, Nelson, and everywhere else everyone stands around but this was 8-9 yrs ago. A few cars come up and pull skids, usually nothing special I thought plus a good waste of tyres lol.

skids when i was a kid was cool, that being when i was 15-17 back of macleans island cars lined up all the way down the rd with at least 10+ cars on the rd doing skids i did enjoy it back then , now things have changed and yea drinking and violence prevails

yea man, youd drive down a packed beyond belief 'lumbo" and do the lumbo run and then park up at bogan mobil and chat for a bit b4 heading out to the skids and having a bloody good laff then running away before the cops came at around 1240-1am haha

Ahh I forgot the ol Lumbo days, I remember when 4&r's was first on... It took over an hour to do one lap of lumbo, it was backed up the whole way. Was actually pretty cool in those days, had lots of good chats with random as u weren't moving fast, so no chance for drags, and no one would dare to throw a bottle cause everyone in a second would know who did it. Pity it was cracked down and it moved into the 4 aves, I can see why the buisness were annoyed with all the mess and all. But now we have 3-4 lane dragway at everyset of lights... Which I think is far worse then the ol Lumbo days, had my car bottled once just heading into town, heard this bang and my windscreen was smahed in then another day had another bottle fly past my windscreen my cm's.

and with the lumbo runs you could see all the coool cars and get a good look at the "talent" sitting in them lol, imo there was more of them doin the lumbo run then nice cars doing the 4 aves now

yeah i been to 4 and rotor a few years in a row now, but last year was the suck! wonder where they will lap next year if the councill put a bylaw saying no lap of the aves or lumbo, Dunedins lap is average at best, not enouhg population base to make it worth while...(even back in the day)

Yeah I remember even seeing the hotrod guys out and about, nowadays it's quite rare to see any decent tidy cars around. Haha it's jailbait central here I must admit, **** I'm clueless on how the hell the parents don't know what their jailbait daughters are doing, heading home from town the other night. One chick ran drunkingly into the middle of the road to try and get "picked up"...Pity she didn't realise the first car was a mufti cop haha, persoanlly I thought it was almost a Darwin moment due to those lights being a known drag point and here she is drunkenly standing in the middle of the lanes trying to wave people over.

It was funny, one chick recently buzzed me on bebo asking if Im new to the scene as she hasn't seen me cruising around b4.... I just lol'd
