EOI: Potential Sponsor - RACETECH

Posting this here so NON-PAID members can see it too and maybe even become paid.

I've been in talks with David Black @ RaceTech about potential sponsorship for the Club and a % discount of things.

The discount would NOT apply to items made in house, more so Brake pads, discs, Goodridge Braided lines ETC - Products Not made by them.

Do you currently get anything through them? If so, what is it?

If there is enough interest I would like to attempt a % discount on some of what I call their Entry level gear - or even Group Buys.

Would anyone buy products from them if something like this was implemented? Discounts would of course be for those who are Paid and Support the Club.

So, are you saying the deal would be for anything non-Racetech branded? Off the shelf type parts?

I got a set of Goodridge braided lines, & Hawk brake pads for both myself and Aaron, so that's at least $700 in a couple of transactions.

I also want to get a nice race seat & brackets for the Foz, so if there's a deal going then I could be keen. I wasn't going to do it this soon, but I could be persuaded if the price is right haha. It will also involve some other cert-required changes as well

I didn't think to mention it earlier but I already have a deal set up with them through a former employee, so perhaps we can leverage off that?

I want a couple of Hans devices but not sure if they are a racetech product or not. And a bloody expensive new seat. Shame they don't want to discount deal on there products also

Yes, it would be for the Off the shelf parts, non-racetech branded.

I'll eventually be needing new pads, braided lines and seats for the WRX as well, so looks like we could have some good interest here.

Main reason they don't want to discount their own products is because of the amount of clubs around these days, people expect that if one person gets something cheaper everyone should. (That's also were the Paid members/non paid comes in again) Hoping if we get group buys as a one off/at a time it would be more reasonable that way. If that makes sense

Pitty they cant offer anything on there own products, I would of thought that would be the easier discount to offer....And i want some new seats!

The more interest the better, if you genuinely want something, and would continue using their Business then let us know so we can get back to them and sort something out for the club
