Stolen: Version 7 STI

Hey team,

My mate just had his STi Stolen from Wilson Carpark in Auckland City. Any info please contact the police or James on 0211639461. Rego as in pics. Pisses me off as mine got stolen earlier this year. So any sightings etc let the right people know.

wth from a Wilson Carpark even, i remember seeing a tow truck speed off from a carpark with alarm going and everything in wellington city, didn't really think about it being dodgy as it happened so quick and the truck looked legit at a glance..

Heard any news? Is it insured for a good money?

Mine got broken into a couple of days after I reduced the agreed insurance value down to $12,000 luckily they didnt get away with it

Police apparently don't "actively" look for cars so meh... said the same thing when mine was stolen earlier this year. Is insured so he is looking at new cars - evos

yea they do but all you need to do is use the ticket - most leave it in their car OR pay the $40 fee to get out without a ticket - you can only hope security cameras are operational and you can get access to the tape at he time...

The bloke that bought my old Version 4 STi off me had is V3 STi stolen from Wilson Car park in town. They have camera's but when he asked them for the footage, they said the camera's are dudds and just there to scare off potential theives.

The getaway/thief's car would be stolen as well so the video footage would be of little use

Wilsons car parks are a hole lot of crock, I know they're there to make money in all but the one thing that pisses me right off is that they can get away for charging a shit load for parking (in general also) and not supply security at such sites as Auckland hospital. you go visit a dying relative in hospital and get stung with $20 odd bucks worth of parking, can't the government buy such sites off them and make it cheaper to park, why does the government let them get away with day light robbery.......pun intended!

bro some time ago i gort offered a subaru for sale and then when i saw it, it was a stolen one with new plates

i told cops etc but they didnt do anything

the guy runs a stolen car gang bro - his mates told me few more cars thet did a stolen job on while drunk at a club

bro my old v3 sti was stolen once and i cried like a baby for weeks coz was my hard earned cash bro...FARK i still feel sad abt it..

anyway, really gutted for ur mate

i see them wvery now and then with new cars and i know many may be stolen and some poor fella is crying ay..

wish some of us like minded ppl could get them justice.. dam gay cops need evidence - i told them the plates and even the owner and where to find...bastards said need him to confess.. as if im a cop.. i even told a cop personally but nothing... its frustratin to see crroks living the good life while i struggle with my insurance premiums just coz of these bastards..

anyway do let ur mate know my details as who knows, it could have been these guys who done it as they steal from car parks..bastards..

we should do something as these days my insurance is more than my petrol - well almost but the point is i find it hard to drive around knowing crims are around..

couple weeks back i noticed my door had key marks but maybe the alarm scared them.. was broad daylite too.. grrr...

sorry for the rant guys.. i just hate car thieves coz they make me paranoid and i cannot take my car around where i want like the mall or shopping.. whats the point of having a nice car and afraid to park anywhere..

my brothers forester was the first car to be stolen with an avs s5 a couple of years back.

happened when he was at a christmas parade at browns bay middle of the day and surronded by people as well just got put on a tow truck
