Gen 3 legacy front axles in GF impreza

Random question, does anyone know if the front axles from a Gen 3 Legacy GT would be same same length as a GF/GC impreza? 

 

I'm leaning towards yes, but don't haven them to measure up right now. 

 

For specifics, it's the front axles from a 6 speed out of a S401, as the 6 speed has no axle stubs, vs the WRX box which does. 

So if the legacy axles fit, I'll use those. Otherwise I'll have to get the gear to convert the 6 speed to male stub axles.
