2006 BLITZEN ?

Hi guys, I've been searching like mad online for any info on this car but so far have found very little. What I want to know is whether Subaru actually produced it with a turbocharged engine ;D or if they only ever did them with the 3litre, 6 cylinder engine :-\ ?

I'm really hoping they did it with a turbo engine. I know they're as rare as all hell but i've been hooked on Blitzens for a while, lol. ???

A tip for looking for info, try looking at Yahoo.co.jp and Google.co.jp and select "sites from Japan"

They may all be in Japanse but some sites have english and then theres translation sites too.

thanks for those links. i'm gonna try get hold of a couple dealers and see if any of them know where to start looking for one cos they are HOT! i know a dealer in dunedin that has heaps of contacts in japan so i'm hoping he can find me one. ;D

there are some here arent there? I've seen at least one in wellington. They have the large 5or 6 spoke dinner plate mags..

Personally not my thing but im sure they are about in NZ.

More offen that not, if its in Japan, there be some of them in NZ. Look at "new" WRX (v11) there were a few imports in NZ way before NZ started selling them.

thanks guys, like i've said i'm yet to see one in the flesh. even in dunedin i think we have the only b4 blitzen, at least i've never seen another one ??? if you guys find anymore links to helpful sites please pass them on, cheers

Do you mean as in a turbo 6?

If so subaru has not Done a factory Turbo 6 to date.

Ive seen both a blitzen 6 and I think a turbo 4 blitzen wagon here. ( 2006 shaped one )

no i think he means the turbo 4.

I think me means that the only came out in flat 6 (N/A) variant.

Ive seen one turbo one in that shape in chch car sales yard ages ago..

Plus I remember Ive had an artical from a paper here some where showing a turbo sedan blitzen.

There is one in Dunedin that you see around a fair bit in the Roslyn region now. Looks great 05-06 model in that fierce red / orange colour.

There's a few black and red wagons in Auckland, and yes they came out both as H6 and H4-T.

I was looking at an old autocar mag (could have been a 2006 mag) the other day and there was an article on this car. I think it basically said the car was the same as the gt except for the body kit etc and $5000 more then the GT. Can find it and scan it if you like.

far out that's way less than i've been quoted :-[ the guy i've been dealing with is giving me past auction results and to get them here etc all up is gonna be anywhere between 28 and 35k. how'd you get it so low, are you bidding yourself etc?
